• Basic Instrumentation and measurement techniques for mechanical engineering systems;

• General measurement system;

• Standards;

• Experimental test plan;

• Uncertainty & common error elements;

• Static and dynamic signals;

• Fast Fourier Transform;

• Sampling concepts, Signal conditioning;

• Filters & amplifiers;

• Mechanical and electrical building blocks of transducers;

• Presentation of data;

• Experimentation with mechanical systems to demonstrate fluid, heat transfer, dynamics, control, and mechanics of materials concepts.
